Under the hood, SeaMonkey uses much of the same Mozilla source code which powers such successful siblings as Firefox and Thunderbird. Containing an Internet browser, email & newsgroup client with an included web feed reader, HTML editor, IRC chat and web development tools, SeaMonkey is sure to appeal to advanced users, web developers and corporate users. Such a software suite was previously made popular by Netscape and Mozilla, and the SeaMonkey project continues to develop and deliver high-quality updates to this concept. The SeaMonkey project is a community effort to develop the SeaMonkey all-in-one internet application suite. Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the Platform. Mozilla®, SeaMonkey® and the SeaMonkey logo are registered trademarks of the Mozilla Foundation and are used under license. And, as always, it's open source and completely free. It's packaged in Format so it can easily integrate with the Platform. It's the popular SeaMonkey internet suite (browser, email, newsgroups, chat) bundled with a Launcher as a portable app, so you can take your whole internet experience with you. Oddly several grocery stores are added recently, though this looks more like site updates (which now require a chrome based browser) rather than anything about the seamonkey version (ie, the old versions no longer work there either).A new version of SeaMonkey®, Portable Edition has been released. The same old list of broken websites continues - any Discourse based forums, can't login to Comcast, some banking sites, etc. I noticed in the beta thread that some people were finding extensions that broke, but I don't know how to apply the fixes they found, or if they are even relevant for RequestPolic圜ontinued.Īt the same time these versions both no longer show tooltips with the full timestamps when mouse-hovering over a date in github issues threads, this also used to work in 2.53.14, but not in 2.53.16. I'll have to stay with 2.53.16 until this gets sorted. This is almost as bad as losing NoScript, and a dealbreaker for me. After trying several other versions to narrow down the problem, it started with 2.53.17 (meaning 2.53.16 was still compatible). I'm finding issues, RequestPolic圜ontinued is no longer compatible.
